So far so good, can't really give a comprehensive review for this product as I bought it for using on my bike in the coming months. It fits perfectly and holds my phone securely and appears generally sturdy and well made. I probably would've given five stars had it been used in the wild!

Ordered as seen a motorcycle blog in which the rider showed this universal part sliding into back of a Tomtom 550 rider sat nav. When purchased it did not!!

Great design, really quick and secure mounting!
Whilst I like the system, this is a replacement cover for the original, which very quickly degenerated to the point were map details in particular became hard to see. Hopefully this case will fair better than the original.
The phone case, which is a sort of loose coverfor my new phone, attaches to the mount successfully but is not particularly pleasing because there is no opening for the USB cable, which means the battery is used up very quickly. It is really disappointing that there is no phone case for my iPhone 16e to fit the old mount.
The one I purchased (from a UK vendor) broke (adapter) and it was replaced by SP within a couple days. No quibble, no fuss made. Just replaced. This is GREAT customer service.
Perfect product
It was incredibly difficult to get the phone out, once you'd put it in. In the end I made a hole in the casing the phone sits within (inside the case) and put some string through the hold to help pull the phone out! But as a case it worked well on holiday, stayed on despite cobbles, gravel, bumps... The main downside is that it becomes a real faff to use the phone as a camera; you can't just pick it up and point, you have to get the phone out of the case (which was really hard until I fashioned a workaround!). And it's a bit pricey for what it is.

Not used in the rain as yet but appears to seal fine. Good clear view of screen & touchscreen accessible.
Its a good product but could be made of better materials. In particular, the locking system. It's made with plastic which wears out fast making the spring system to loosen up and then waggles about while driving. It could be made of steel. I work as a courier, sometimes I have to unlock it in a awkward angle and then is when the locking system can get to midway which then I need the "thingy" you provide to fully turn it back. If it was made of still, this would not happen. Thanks

We are sorry that you are experiencing such trouble with the phone case. Please take special care with the phone case, that the mechanism is placed completely flat on the mount, before turning it into the locked position. The case otherwise has the tendency to slip off and catch on the edge of the mount, which ultimately can cause such an abrasion or it being turned into the locked position.

Bit tricky to work out how to use initially. Didn't realise I had an extra piece I didn't actually need! Once on the bike it worked very well.
Bought one of their systems to mount on my Harley, including the damper module (you know what kind of vibrations a 1.6L V-twin engine subjects you to, right?!). Fixing on the handlebar, close to the centre.
Universal mounting as I can cater for my current phone but also about to move to another.
All in chrome, matches well the theme of the bike.
It was really easy to install, and it feels extremely sturdy, other than a set of beautifully machined metallic bits.
Phone gets progressively clamped with a screw mechanism, and locking the phone in position with a 90° turn is easy and secure. I've done ~3000 miles with this system, and don't regret having bought it one bit!
The SP Connect universal phone holder mounted on the SP Connect windscreen suction mount rotates and doesn't hold firm. I bought a cheap phone holder from Temu that works far better.
Terrible after my second riding using the universal mount on slightly bumpy surface, the mount snapped in half sending my phone flying. Would not recommend this product.
The 3M adhesive did it job well, but this is not a solution to use on your phone.

The item is excellent. I broke it when I dropped my bike. Sp were very courteous and prompt in replacing the item, which in my view was above expectations. Nice one!
Adaptor has stuck in lock position so will not connect to mount. Using universal case instead but this reflects light so becomes unreadable in sunlight. Motorcycling through Spain so very inconvenient.
Regrettably, on its second outing, fixed to the Otterbox case of my phone and mounted on my bikes handlebar mount, which was a 30 minute urban cycle ride, the adhesive failed and my phone was slightly damaged. I have now resorted to the use of Superglue backed up by a safety cord to prevent my phone from falling into the road again.
Brilliant! I bought this along with the ball mount and anti vibration damper to provide a secure, accessible solution to carrying my mobile phone on my motorbike. It works perfectly and is manufactured to a very high and durable standard.
